At Canadian Island we know kids learn the most when they feel safe, happy and secure – and our international camps are built on this simple philosophy. Our camps create a friendly, relaxed and informal learning environment for children that is able to motivate them to learn and communicate in English.

The camps are run during June and July from 8am to 5pm, giving you plenty of time to join in the fun. Parents can expect a 1:6 staff to student ratio.

Activities beginning in September 2019

In September, let your children start school with an extra gear with the school immersion courses in English!

Food

We give great importance to food and cater to campers with a wide variety of dietary requirements.
Italy is known for its slow food movement that encourages people of all ages to pay closer attention to what goes on their plate and in their body. At Canadian Island, we have embraced this food philosophy and place great emphasis on the quality of food served at camp in terms of nutritional value and variety in order to meet the needs of our campers.
We have created a tasty, nutritious and wholesome meal plan made from local organic produce and we cater to campers with dairy, nut, wheat, soy, egg and fish allergies. Celiac campers thrive on our gluten free foods while vegetarians and vegans are amazed at the variety of food options we offer.
Drinking water regularly is another Canadian Island camp initiative and we encourage campers to use the bottled water coolers that can be found all around camp.

Location

trebbio-350x350

Centro sportivo al trebbio

The centre or farmhouse, located in the picturesque Molino del Piano near the small town of Pontassieve in the Tuscan Hills, has a range of facilities that are suitable for kids, including: a ropes course, pool, tennis court, vast fields, horse stables and restaurant with an outdoor patio area.

gonfienti-prato

Villa Gonfienti - Prato

Situated in an Etruscan village, Villa Gonfienti holds both historical value and is strategically located just minu- tes from the center of Prato. Although it is near the city, the villa is surrounded by greenery and outdoor space, giving the appearance of being far away in the countryside.
